The "BOX MODELING A HEAD" tutorial

http://bellorum.50webs.com/tut_head_01.html

here is the tutorial.

But i can’t find the second part, the third, and so on… :expressionless: :expressionless: :expressionless:

Niether can I. The one that done that tut is a member on this site, I think it’s the one that has a column as a avatar. Ask him why he haven’t completed it yet.

[EDIT] I found the one who it is (not the one with column) it is Bellorum.

certainly because he never had the time to do so, or lost interest in it… All the basis are there, it’s up to you, now!

Cheers,

I’m the guilty one %| I was planning on extending it, but real life got in the way - school, new job, got totally burned out twice in the last year. But, as olivS says, the techniques for modelling a complete head is there, just continue adding detail. Your best tutorials are looking at wireframes from good artists, study their topology, the flow of their edgeloops. If it doesn’t look right the first time, just step back, and keep at it.

Bellorum’s given the basics for the box-modelling in Blender. Maybe the following non-Blender tutorials can give you some hints where to go from here:

Bellorum. that is an awesome tutorial BTW. I have been curious for a while and had not run accrossed this question before…Did you model your advatar? if so, WOW! If not, you could probably do it anyways.

Take care

Nah, I took the lazy approach and just searched for an image with google. Might be an interesting project, though, to see If I could model it in 3D. For those who don’t know, it’s a bust of Gaius Julius Caesar.

Well, i was kind of hoping for someone to throw me a easy to eat bone here, i am new to blender, about 2 months.

well, it looks i indeed have to put all my brain to work

promise to post here a result of my struggling to model that head
