Working on making more relaxing/painting style renders. Here’s one of a cafe on a quiet street at night time.
Superbly done! Channeling the spirit of Edward Hopper.
A very good interpretation of Nighthawks by Edward Hopper (1942)
One of the reasons I love this so much is that now the model is completed, it offers the potential of seeing the same scene from different angles, something that was not possible with the original painting.
Well of course it’s not an exact replica. I was mostly just trying to capture the same vibe with similar elements. I also added more outside the cafe to emphasize the quiet street.
However I do agree that 3D scenes offer so much more customization and tweaking throughout the process when it comes to composition and camera angle. If Edward Hopper wanted to change the angle of his painting midway through he’d need to start all over.
Thank you for your e-mail.
I think education to art is a great thing, instead we have only pop culture around us.
