I just spent $660 US on a new 5070 graphics card. It didn’t help the incessant crashes. Blender won’t even field bug reports anymore, the product is so far lost in legacy hacks, thunks from the 90s, and caca 3rd party libraries, half of them ancient 32-bit. The code was obsolete in 2010. It’s only 15 years worse now.
Relief will take time but it’s coming. I have a Blunder replacement coming - all ASM. No languages. No libraries. No Python. No spyware OS; it runs on my own hand coded ASM OS. I have been developing since 1976. I am not new to this; and I know what constitutes a b.s. claim. This is not one of those. It is coming. On average it is expected to be 50x to 100x faster than Blunder and NO CRASHES EVER.
