The Cliff tower - 100% blender course released!

So guys, is the course worth its money?

This is pefect! very nice men!

Well the full shading is a cycle one with regular shading process.
The style is brought by texturing and modeling process so I’m absolutely for a PBR approach and not free style or cartoon shading.

This is a very old post.
There is another 3D clay artwork based on the same concept on the web.

But in my case, I did ask Corentin Chevanne if I could use and publish his concept and he very kindly accepted

Hi People,

I’m super proud to announce that the final output got featured as picture of the week on 3Dartistonline and that it will be printed and published in 3Dartist issue 98!!!

I’ve also published 2 free videos from chapter 7 of the course so that you can have a quick look to some of the outputs :

Judging by my copy, the videos are all .mp4 format, and the total download size of all the videos and accompanying material is about 7.2GB

Immediately fell in love with the aesthetic of the image when I saw it, so impulse bought the course!
Haven’t had a chance to work through it yet, however I’ve skimmed through the videos briefly and they go into great detail and are of high quality. Excited to get stuck into this one…!

Cool. Modelling and texturing quite impressive

Hi guies, I’ve just posted a mid poly version I’ve worked around for sketchfab.
It’s not perfect but the overall is cool and got staff picked

I’m finishing the making of video for this sketchfab export

Don’t forget to switch to HD textures… hope you’ll like it

I am not really a fantasy things but this look so awesome!! I would love to buy it when I can… Love the work you did!!!

A little making of the sketchfab export

Amazing video. Thanks for sharing. The design was realistic.

I’ve checked out your free tutorials. They’re great! Which leans me toward buying this tut-series. Looks great. Hopefully soon I can get started. I normally model vehicles and have been wanting to do some environments. This looks to be a great series to sway me that direction. Great job!!!

that looks epic!

Hiya!

Nice look and seems like a good tutorial. I can’t buy it though because the audio would drive me nuts. Background music in a tutorial is a no-no for me. Also, hearing every click or keyboard press is an instant no-buy. Sub-par voice volume is something I can deal with…not everyone has a degree in audio engineering or a high-end microphone and set up for recording. But BG music and clicking? Drives me crazy!

If you ever release an “audio-cleaned-up” version be sure to let us know!

I’ve just finished this course ( https://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?407097-P2Desing-class-The-Cliff-Tower ) , and price wise to me is one of the best I’ve ever payed for along with 25$ introduction to stylized character for zbrush by Mark Thorup.
It’s a really in depth course, it deals with a lot of nice stuff which is really hard to find on youtube and stuff ( I’m thinking about general workflow, expecially about texturing large scale projects).
Go buy it, you won’t be disappointed…unless you can’t stand music or mouse clicks as other users ( I honestly found sound quality nice and bg music not so much distracting, though).
