Thanks for the info!

Welks. The sessions have started. Wow, this is great. If you work for a boutique studio or a big studio, you’ll want to check these sessions out on these industry standard middleware and user projects.

OpenVDB has a special announcement about GPU tomorrow, Thursday. You don’t want to miss this if you use OpenVDB! Check out Juan/Bone Studios’s 2.83x studio build on GraphicAll. It has extra OpenVDB functionality with an OpenVDB remesher that some feel has better output than the quadramesh tool.

If you you are a programmer that are interested in working directly with some of the great libraries blender uses check out the other projects.

You heard it here first in the blender community! NEWSFLASH: OpenVDB has announced a new NanoVDB addition that provides GPU acceleration. This is outstanding news. Congrats to those that worked on this.

The OpenVDB presentation is going on now via livestream during OS Days and the recording will be available in a week or two online.

They are covering the awesome AX tool now also. Excellent feature to unleash OpenVDB’s power to an artist via an expression language.

Congrats to the OpenVDB team on an awesome project!
