Hello everyone,
A few months ago I tried out a landscape piece for the first time. It came out kind of janky, so I wanted to give it another go eventually. I wasn’t inspired to try again until I started watching Sketching in Blender on YouTube. His approach was so straightforward and way less complicated than I had tried in the past. So I tried to emulate his style. I used Fairy Glen in Scotland as a reference. Here’s my result.

Viewport:
I used a 1x2 aspect ratio stretch to try to get the anamorphic look in the pixels. It gave me a cool film grain look that made the render look less fake right off the bat. That’s why the ratio is weird in the viewport.
