The idea of cloud computing stems from the boiling frog urban legend (the frog is a legend, for humans it is true).
The thing starts at 10$ per month (wow! great! half of what I spent before, no installation hassles, always up to date version!)
…then it will become 20$ because they added some gadget (that nobody needs)
…then it will be 30$ per month with no better explanation than inflation
…then 40$ per month because…
…rinse and repeat, with your data locked on their servers.
