A great idea with wonderful execution, Zaldor. The colors are great! I especially like the fish and the reflections on the balloon/bag. All the elements work well together.

Thanks for your appreciation and support, I am happy you guys like the image…

the concept behind the image is clearly the “duality” I wanted to create an image of surprise, something extra-ordinary but yet visually simple while still appealing.

in “The Goldfish Perspective” you see at first an hand holding a balloon with what appears to be a floating fish in a water balloon when you read the text at the last line, you get that you have to look the image upside down and the “picture” of what was beautiful and surreal becomes the ugly and real; the fish is dead, and the hand is holding just a bag with water and a dead goldfish.
To keep the concept of duality, the fish and the balloon are rendered extremely real, while the hand cartoonish.
You just realize the the fish is kept alive and the dream true as long as you keep the “right” perspective, which, is an idea i find to be very poetic and at the same time nerdly quantistic.
But i like happy endings, so, even if my fist render had the HDRI reflection upside down matching “reality” my daydreamer soul kicked in and i reversed it to give away the fact that even if something is extra-ordinary or plain absurd it could still be happening.
