The grave of Georges Méliès needs to be renovated

Everybody knows the iconic picture from his movie “A Trip to the Moon” (Le Voyage dans la Lune _ 1902).

Since 1938, his grave has never been restored. Père Lachaise cemetery where is his grave is a classified site.
Renovation has to follow rules for such site.
But according to French law, it is legally the responsibility of the owners of these monuments to maintain, repair and restore them.

So, its descendants have created a website with a sketchfab model of the grave to support a kickstarter campaign.
