This is a little animation that i put togther in like 5 days. I used no tutorials at all for the materials and stuff. It was hard as hell to figure a good material.

Nice Job! That was a lot to do without a tutorial.
The only thing that was a little off was the horizon line. It looked like there was a steep drop near by.
The material was really good. Did you use cycles?
