The house by the forest river

3D visualization of a house for advertising a construction company. As a reference, the customer suggested use my work. ​​​​​​​The work was completed in 4 working days, from home modeling to final renderings.

This work was done in Blender 5.0.1 + Cycles render and Photoshop.
Lighting: HDRI
Scene Landscaping: Geo-scatter and Gscatter.
Tone mapper: ACES 2.0
The work was done without using AI.

It looks very pretty, and also very believable. If you were trying to show me how this house would look in a “real” environment, you certainly did so exactly.

I am interested in what you have done with the roof . . . I think that this cabin must be designed to be in a place that is very cold and snowy in the wintertime. But I have no experience with such climates – nor do I ever want to. :slight_smile: Nonetheless, the careful attention to detail, in everything about these renders, really stands out.

Thanks! I did not design this house, so questions about its insulation and the like are not for me. I just made a visualization of the project, my task was to show this house in a realistic environment with all its structural elements and features. :upside_down_face:

I think sundialsvc4 is asking about the snow guard rails. They’re used to keep heavy snow from sliding en masse off the roof on to people (and things) below, as that can be deadly (or otherwise destructive and/or annoying).

I made the snow holders, you can see them on the roof
