The interactive engine, now in progress

The interactive engine is now seeing its first lines of code, as evident with this new commit regarding interactive physics simulation. This is being worked on by Benoit Bolsee, who is known for his attempt to revitalize the BGE late in the 2.4x series.

As usual with big new features, this is currently in a branch and will be for quite a while yet. That means this won’t be in the first version of 2.8.
