But in serious: Blender can be a good sculpt program on Ipad. As I know the touchscreen is not pressure sensitive but maybe useable for sculpt!

Ah crap I just tried their email form on their site. if any one should do their vfx for the show one of us should. will it blend, blendtec, blender… it’s a match made in heaven :smiley:

but the form throws errors :frowning:

I did post the ‘will it blend’ video in the off topic chat earlier this week as soon as it appeared on Engadget, I guess no one noticed.

yay! Now when Ipad will get old and second hand (& stolen ones) go on ebay, I will bid for 1 @ a cheap amount and run blender on it! Thanks Apple (and Steve Jobs).

I don’t think you can run Blender on the iPad, for one thing it doesn’t support Python and there’s no builds for the iPhone OS.

Haha lol funny! I thought it’s a serious thread ^^. At the moment I think it would not be possible due to the touch screen/finger interaction but as far as I know one proposal for GSoC is exactly this: Better support for tablets and touchscreens.

There’s also that pesky “no open source software” requirement
