hmmm im liking it… i feel that if your not careful that hyper detail on the skin of such a simple character could fall into the uncanny valley. but as is i feel the designs could work for more of a serious story.
Uncanney valley shouldn’t apply here, mainly because it refers to computer generated characters that resemble real human biengs, but fail at it. This is more of a stylized character.
By the way, it isn’t skin, i am going for a sculpted look, as in clay. If you look closely the material has scratches and stuff. This is why you might have that impression.
That said, thanks for the input, maybe i could sculpt more details on my works, could look better
