I read about something called yable and yafray today and got currious, so I downloaded it and had a play with it. The skull is a mesh I made a couple of days agoe. I don’t really know if this belongs here, but it was modelled in blender…
It does belong here. Alot of images has come from yafray lately. Nicely executed rendering. It could do alot with a little more work on the lighting. Also the upperlip on the scull is a too long. But keep up the good work.

It looks fantastic, especially the second one with the liquids. I don’t know what comments I can give as Blender newb though.
give as harsh a criticism as you deem appropriate. just because you are new doesnt mean you cant crit someone. and if you do crit them quite harshly, you are only setting your personal standards higher, which is definatleoy a good thing. so go for gold!
i love this pic, but the skull’s proportions are way off, and the background is a little plain…
looks sorta cool and cartoony though.
the second one looks really cool! the first one is a bit bland, but the second ones colour is really nice
The skull was a subsurf in an earlier version of the pic, and I did save and back up that version, now its been converted to a mesh. So how do I import the old subsurf into the new .blend so I can tweek the skull a bit?
shift+F1 is import, but if you convert to mesh, blender does leave a copy of the subsurf right there…
