Hey everyone! 👋

Here’s my latest project, which is the result of the first chapter of the CG Boost “Master 3D Environments in Blender” course. It has been on my to-do list for a few years now, and I’m excited to finally be diving into it!

It’s been a great learning experience, exploring various tools of creating quick but realistic environments.

And here they are side-by-side with a clay renders:

I’d love to hear any feedback or thoughts you have! I will continue to share my progress with the next chapters in the following weeks, thanks for checking it out! 🙂

A bit ago, I saw a similar piece like yours and one bit of feedback I saw was that the mountain looked a little _too_ clear and sharp. With how far away mountains are, they tend to get enveloped in the atmosphere and look a bit faded out instead of super crisp.

This image is a good example:

 ![photo-1517021897933-0e0319cfbc28](https://blenderartists.org/uploads/default/original/4X/5/9/a/59afbc873d2b8aec3cd4f33a701749328286e065.jpeg)

Here’s another example of mountains in New Zealand:

Especially since yours is in a setting where the sky isn’t completely clear. Mountains tend to look bluer and bluer the further away they are from the POV.

Thank you for such detail feedback, much appreciated! I see what you mean, I agree, perhaps the atmosphere could have been a bit intensified 🙂

The lighting and colors really do it for me, they set the tone perfectly!
