Here is a link of the game I was working on with some designers of the “Danmarks Designskole”. I hope you enjoy it. There are some problems with textures on plane like icons and shadows. You need a quite good computer to run it smoothly.
You are a farmer which need to repel Alien Invaders. Collect animals of your farm and throw them with your canon of Alien’s faces.
Control the harvester with the W,S, A and D key.
Control the canon direction with the mouse.
Shoot with the left click. Change current ammo with the scroll middle button.
Change the shoot mode with right click (entire animal/ piece of fleshes)

well , i like the way the land is textured , nice graphics , but the controls are wierd , <when i press mouse buttons , he moves his head , but not shoot anything >
and the camera should be really fixed remi , …
and also got the canon fliped upside down …
I really liked the concept and graphics. The program took a very long time to load and exit, but played fluidly. It would be good to have a crosshairs so I could see exactly where I was aiming. It would also be good if the aliens came in waves and the farm buildings were more spread out. Maybe the aliens could focus on one building, then the other , then start focusing on more and more buildings at once. Also, if the aliens came in small numbers at first and increased steadily. But then, maybe those are big ideals. I liked the scenery design and especially the tractor and aliens. Only major glitch I’ve found so far is that the icons for various ammunition are mapped incorrectly, being segment in quadrants with the images in each swapped from the quadrant they should be in.

The tractor does not have very good traction, which is displeasing. And the aliens sometimes land on their feet and sometimes get stuck vibrating in odd orientations to the earth or flying. I was not able to get the cannon upsidedown though I tried.

I know that there are some bugs. The Alien’s problem comes from the engine itself: when you add an object in the scene, which has a “Dynamic” physic, its behavior would be like a “Rigid Body” physic. It’s due to a bug. The problem with some texture is weird, because I don’t have this problem with the blend file. By the way, here is the “.blend” file : http://www.savefile.com/files/1275128
Some textures are not linked correctly because of “local path” from my computer. That’s why I had previously uploaded the exe file
i don’t know what is the matter with savefile these days ! , it shuts the DLDing <i mean the blend> , and actually it DLDs 6 MB and cuts …
