The Layers have disappeared!

Well, this has never happened to me before…

I was sculpting a mesh in the latest version of Blender3D. I was working in layer one (which contained the mesh and a camera), but also had other meshes in other layers.

When I left Sculpt mode, the layers toolbar had disappeared, along with the camera in the current layer. I don’t know where they went, or how to get them back. Thankfully, I have other saved files containing the lost models.

I do have a lead, I think. When I select the remaining mesh and do the following: Spacebar -> Object -> Move to Layer, I get an “OK?” box that says “Move from localview”.
However, I just can’t figure out how to fix this particular file. I don’t know where the Layers went!

Toggle LocalView with Numpad /
Layers also disappear in Edit mode.

%<

Numpad / (slash) key …(local view toggle -isolates whatever was selected).

Edit: Good grief I’m too slow with the submit button!

Heeey, That was the problem!
Thank you both so much. I’m really glad that there was such an easy fix (apparently, nothing was wrong in the first place).

Well, that’s one mistake I’ll only make once! I see how I could’ve pressed the / key without realizing it. Now I know, I guess.

Thanks again!
Andy
