In france they are having one on the 6-7 of July…maybe we could make one at the same time so we can video-talk with them? no?

The three of us here, plus I know a couple of ther people (3 of 4, or more) that would probably come. Not including people that might come from Ontario or the States.
Albeit at such short notice, I don’t think I will be able to have the same local as last year, but I can probably use the local of the Computer Club at the college (4 putter, 1 Linux, 2 Win, 1 old iMac and enough loose lan cables).

July would be a no go for me.

Trade tips, show what we’ve been working on, chat about future development, maybe even people could show some of the features they have been working on. It’s also a great time for newbies to get more experience and help from more advanced users.

That shouldn’t be a problem for pretty much everyone, unless you mind the accent of course
On that topic, i just want to reassure people that could be affraid to come when they don’t speak french (Montreal being in Québec and all 
), this will not be a problem. At the last meeting in october, we all switched to english as much as we could as soon as some non-french people came over.

Are we still on for October, I know it’s in 2 months but I was wondering if a date has been set?
Now that the date is set for the conference in Amsterdam, I’ll book a local somewhere for the conference and wip a quick webpage and all.
