The new SSE2 build is one hell of a beast

Stunning.
Just did a render with the new SSE2 ready build of Blender.
About any P4 or AMD64 can use this beast.
It actually uses the full 100% of my CPU where in the past I never got any higher then 80%.
Smoking!
Though I sure hope my CPU wasn’t :]

Hell ya. It’s pretty damn cool to watch blender use both of my cores to render different parts of the scene.

You must be speaking of the 2.40 optimized build, right? It was super fast! The 2.41 build is buggy for me

no. I’m using the 2.41 build.
Haven’t tried that much. Mainly rendering so I haven’t encountered any bugs yet.
