I did this a while ago for fun/modeling practice, but I figured I might as well post it here.
A newer higher poly and fixed version…
The normals were off in the first render, but it gave it a very interesting and pretty artistic contrast. I can’t decide which one I like better, and I’m too lazy to go changing the shading types for the new model just in case it would look good.
I wanted to make the roots blend into the ground more smoothly, but I didn’t know how to do that. :spin:
