Does anyone know how to move that little pivot thing? The little dot thats in the center of every new object.

Well you know you can make things pivot on the cursor anytime. Just change the horseshoe thing at the bottom row of your 3d view to a cursor. If you want to permanently change your objects center, put the cursor where you want and in edit buttons press ‘centre cursor’.
