the random trail...

hey guys i have few issues with animating my attacks for my charecters…

first off, if anyone out there has a good “randomizer” python script…could you post it here?..all i need it to do is randomize about 6 or 7 action actuators…preferably i would like to select “how random” each action would be…

secondly, is there a way to add a new object(in realtime) through materials or single vertices rather than origins? you see, i need a good “slash” effect when using a sword…a sort of small texture trail that trails the sword…

i will make a file soon with the sword trails, just wait another day or so. with the random actions; could you explain in furthur detail if possible?

now I want to know if someone out there has a script that could do this, or could you just do it with logicbricks? Although i would rather have a script so that I could establish how often each action would be selected (i.e., each actions chance of being picked individually).

ok…now i have a question :wink: …in your original file if you look at the “detect” or “wave” object…then look at there logicbricks…you can tell that there logicbricks are linked somehow…now when i append those two objects to my charecters file there logicbricks are no longer linked…and ide rather not append my charecter to the file you sent me…uh…what im basically saying is how do you link object data?
