The rendering of my cloth simulation doesn't work (Blender 2.83 / Cycle)

Hello

I can’t render my clothing simulations (created by a seewing method previously) with CYCLES (F12).
Either it looks like nothing, or it no longer fits the shape of the body while everything is ok in the viewport, even in render mode.

I have baked the simulation and after i used a MESH CASH modifyer with an .MDD file :frowning:

I took a small series of image captures to clarify my problem : https://we.tl/t-eEfKHeDwTa

And here is my blend file and the externals folders (58 MO) : https://we.tl/t-4iwkq8AVyW

Thanks for

PS : Help me, Obiwan-Kenobi, you are my only hope :frowning:

Hi Christian,

I can’t replicate the problem where the cloth goes crazy ( 03-F12-sans-le-bake ) but the issue with the cloth not moving at all is because your render settings in the SubD modifier don’t match the viewport - which is the value your MDD file is based on

Cheers,

Brilliant !!!

For the problem where the cloths goes crazy, it was the same issue !
It was just a version with a bake but without the .mdd file.

And in the 2 cases (with and without the .mdd) there was a gap between the values of the SubD modifier.

I am very happy : i can continue my discovery of cloths simulations !!!

Thanks a lot for your fast answer !
And take care of yourself.
