yeah that would be a nice feature. but i hope someone will improve the displacement mapping. Someone should make it like Final renderer. if you make a simple mesh and give a DM. The mesh will be automatically divided into small “virtual” quads like the hemi sphere one and those quads are moving as the DMap. it looks extremly realistic. More than just subdivided mesh in blender :slight_smile: here a sample:

Did you create the texture for the tree bark in the room and in your last photo, or did you found it somewhere, because I can’t seem to find any tileable bark texture :-? (I’m just talking about the texture for the color, I suppose that the texture for the displacement could be created using this - maybe I’m wrong)
