"The Rustle of Leaves"

Hello everyone and Happy 2022:

My name is Mauricio Flores, I’m a Mexican 2D/3D artist and for some time now I’ve been directing and working on “The Rustle of Leaves”. A short film fully produced with free and open software.

I wanted to share with you one of our sequences, there are still a couple of issues we need to fix but, for the most part, it is practically done. There are many more to come in the future and we’ll make sure to keep posting continuous progress. Hope you like it! Feel free to comment if you wish to.

Why do I feel like I’ve seen this short ?

Anyway, it looks amazing. I love the character design and the color scheme.

If I may give some personal feedback, I seem to notice the squash and stretch of the head at times. It’s still far from how some TV shows abuse of it and make heads look like jello but I think the best is when you don’t notice it even though it’s there.
