The wine bottle has one error that is very common in rendered images, the visible gap between the liquid and the edge of the bottle doesn’t actually look that way in real life. Here’s the issue and solution explained: http://adaptivesamples.com/2013/10/19/fluid-in-a-glass/
The same will apply to the glass if you put wine in there too.
Whoa thanks for pointing it out.
Although Greg Zaal hasn’t explained it too well, my understanding is that Blender only uses absolute IoR values, and to do this, in two medium systems it assumes the incident medium to be air, resulting in a flawed result. But don’t mind by physics-based extrapolation! Here’s the corrected bottle :

A title logo I designed for my gaming clan (also my first and rather successful use of Blender’s amazing compositor):
More of those PC case shots! Added an Antec logo on it just for fun. This project is finally over I guess.
Unless someone can direct me to make something else in or under 2 hours, I’m stuck to doing more PC cases *sigh
I might start PC components sometime soon. If those work out maybe I’ll put em up on BlendSwap.
Started on some interiors and ArchiWiz. Tell me what you’d add to make this hall more, well, homely?
This thread apparently still exists, so here’s some more crap I’ve been working on.
The Volvo 9700 2015 Edition with a few random, pimpy editions (out of sheer laziness because I don’t know how to make headlamps)
More on that Volvo bus I was makin’:
Your toilet on the bathroom scene looks way too big. Good work on the Volvo bus! Keep it up!
Thanks man!
After a hugeee hiatus from Blender related work, I’m back at it.
This time it’s a Tesla Model S (or something like that)
Will continue workin’ on it.
