The Temple of Caer Ahaddu

There is a bit of a story behind this image.
While in and of itself it is a finished piece of work, it is also a still from a music video that I have been working on for far too long(2 years in fact). It’s something that I had intended to post about ages ago, but I am one of those people who gets so into the project itself that I forget to tell anybody about it! I still have a long way to go, probably another year or so but I now intend to start a new thread in the work in progress section under the title "Beneath a Hunter’s Moon, so that by the time it comes out there might be some interest, (after all you cannot be interest in something you don’t know about).
Anyway, on a technical side, this was produced using Blender Internal, with minimal compositing, and no post production, it is rendered out at twice the size of the video, which is full HD. The figures are made using the excellent Makehuman progamme, all the rest is Blender, except for the backdrop which is a photo taken in the Lauterbrunnen valley by my wife in 2014. Total render time for the image is about 3 minutes, which is just as well, as the video already stands at 60.000 frames, and I only have 2 fairly modest computers.
