The time difference between manual rendering and automatic rendering is 3 times

Does anyone have this situation?

In a scene, manually press Render—>Render to complete---->Save image —>manually press next frame to Render—>Render to complete->Save image, total of two frames will take about 1 minute

But by directly pressing Render animation, the same two frames use 3 minutes, which is 3 times slower…Manually saves a lot of time, but I don’t want to manually… :sob:

I try batch cmd,same time slow…

Does anyone have a solution to provide? :sob: :sob: :sob:

When you render an animation do you render the still frames or do you directly render to a movie format? If you do the latter you will add the encoding time to your rendering.

In general its best to always render to still frames. This means you have the high quality version of your movie available to you (which took long enough to render as is). Then you can use blenders own VSE (or other third party tools like handbrake) to encode it to a movie format and choose your resolution and quality.

I use PNG,animation same PNG.

Super weird. Then I really don’t know what could be causing the issue. :slightly_frowning_face:
