The vertices wont come back!

When I go to object mode, I move the lamp thing around and stuff.

But when I go to edit mode, all I see is the wireframe and no vertices.

How can this be fixed?

Is your Lamp still selected?

In Edit mode on the mesh, if you press Ctrl-Tab can you select “Vertices”?

In Edit mode, do your verts show if you hit Alt-H?
