The Yorp

After spending about two years hiding in terror from the mysterious ways of weight painting and UV, I have finally made my first foray into the world of organic modelling.

Commander King ftw, I spent way too much time on that game…

Commander King ftw

Close…

I edited out the questions - this isn’t the place for them; I’ll tinker with it myself and then ask in the correct forum.

Really!? it looks so close though…now you have to pm me with the answer… oh wait, I spelled that wrong… Commander KEEN, not king, I was little and always thought that was what it was… :o that game was my introduction to the computer.

heh, yeah I completely missed the fact that this is in finished projects, edited out my answer now.

My error in asking them in the first place. Anyway, I think I’ve answered some myself now.

And yes, three cheers for Commander Keen! Never did so few pixels mean so much to so many. Or something.

Freaky character indeed

JiriH: thanks^_^

A slightly tweaked rig let me do another animation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryuMVLTJkU0

It’s not really in-character, as they’re supposed to be big, dumb and lumbering. But oh well.

Also, here’s another pic. Poor chap.

I tried but it looked really stupid… So no, he’s going to have to stay mute for now.

(Awesome sprite btw - really takes me back.)
