Over the course of the following months, I will be busy preparing for the performance of a play. It’s not professional theatre, at least not in the sense that the play is prepared and performed mostly by pupils of my school (directed by one of our teachers), not by professional actors.
This Friday I have an audition for that play and I want to ask you guys for some advice. What are the most important things to keep in mind while acting? How can I prepare for an audition?
We still be guided to improve our acting skill, of course, but the audition will largely determine our roles (although no play has been chosen yet) and of course, I want a lead role
So, who has tips, do’s and don’ts?
JUst do what you can. There isnt much more to it, they’ll pick you for whatever will work. If it’s a musical, make sure you sing a nice number that really shows off your skillz…
Good luck!
