Sorry man. I am not sure as to how many read both boards. You can remove this one if you need to. I dont want to make any problems.

Mike

wut do you mean by themes? like colour schemes?

Yea, for now. Pluse being able to change the color of the buttons (not working yet) Im not sure about appearance. Iv not been able to keep up with all the email on the Funboard.

COOL BEANS, MAN!

super… can’t wait for it… when are we due to see it on our own computers?

Visit blender.org news forum, and download the october 18th compile in the thread ton posted. The themes panel is next to filepaths, settings, etc.

Forget the colors, the button reorganization looks very promising! This will be extremely useful to new users.

How are the themes done? Is it coded like the rest of the program? I would like to try making/altering themes but I don’t know the code which blender is coded in.

Three-dee…you don’t have to do ANY coding or anyting of that nature. BF-Blender’s “themes” will be user customization of the colors of the UI that you can set and save as presets.

Thanks Desoto, that’s good to know. Do you know if it’s possible to change any/all of the graphics instead of just the color of them? (for example, to add a swirly pattern to window headers :-? )

Eh…its not skinnable. Its more like a pair of pants with elastic than a pair of pants that changes into shorts. :///…or something…

Ok, thanks.
