(Themes) : Share your themes, and startup.blend !

Hey guys,
I thought it would be nice if we could all share our themes, and especially startup.blend files, with different custom layouts that we like to have. Thought would be useful for people looking for customizing the theme or the layouts. And a lot of fun too!! Here is my theme…

This may sound really nooby but really how do I export my own themes to xml? I have customized a theme and added it to the list using the + button. But thats about it. I cant fine the file itself in some folder

You might find it by hovering over it and look at the filepath. My friend used %appdata% to see the hidden files, and that is how I found mine before. For the life of me I can’t remember what key combo he did to look though.

If you’re on windows, and have installed blender normally, the paths you’re interested in are:

C:\Documents and Settings{username}\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.6x
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.6x\

If you’ve set it up to run portably, then you simply go inside Blender’s folder and inside the 2.6x subfolder.
In either cases, the sub-directory structure you’re looking for to get to your themes is:

“…\2.6x\scripts\presets\interface_theme”

Your saved theme should be in there, as an .xml file

My theme. Mostly not grey. Grey is so sad…

I didn’t upload my startup file which has nothing really special. No timeline, no grid floor (I really hate that thing!), and very few custom shortcuts besides the ones I adapted to my french keyboard. The rest is (almost) all factory settings.

Here’s my Standard Theme: bGray contrast

Focus on distraction Free and good Readability.

Not sure if i can share my startup.blend at this point… i’ve got over 100 NodeGroups in there, and some of them would need still good amount of work to make them more easy to work with…

Hey guys, I made a theme some weeks ago, and its my default theme now which I use exclusively. I named it Dawn, as the colors were inspired by early dawn sky lighting. Hope you guys like it…Some screenshots…
