So where’s the eggnog?

There is no eggnog either :stuck_out_tongue: . There’s InvisiCheese!
Cool! Try downloading the latest version and rendering with yafray.

This is good. What are your settings & which version of blender ?

Madyorky

Very nice!
Simple and effective. Great work on the liquid.

First of all I am amazed of your ability to produce so many works in such a short time. Second: the glass materila is very cool and I love the tones - but the scene it self is not very realistic (that is not a problem - your work is still excelent!) but if you want it to be very realistic maybe try yafing it.

This is awesome, well done

Modron: I drank it all  (burp)

Prismatic: I have a bfblender binary w/Yafray and realize I’m going to have to set a lot of time aside to redo materials and lighting to get good results with it - and then even more time to render :stuck_out_tongue: Seriously though, I must say I am very happy with the inline raytracer. It is so capable it’s amazing.

madyorky: Thanks! I’m using ztonzy’s Dec. 19th binary of Blender, an unofficial build. I’m using the built-in raytracer. The 1 spotlight and 2 lamps have values ranging between 1 and 2. Materials use the reflection and refraction, with the bowl having an IOR of 1.03, a reflection value of .5, and a reflection depth of 10. The same goes for the spoon except its IOR was left at 1. The table/cube thing it rests on has an IOR of 1.11 and a RayMir value of .7.

Samir: Thank you very much

@ner: Thanks - I’m trying to make a concerted effort to get better and do more in less time. This one I wasn’t quite shooting for total realism, but I’m sure once I figure out how to successfully migrate my materials, lighting, etc. into Yafray through the new bfblender binaries (and eventual official release) I’ll try it. I’m really pleased with the new native raytracer though. It really opens up so many new possibilities.

M@dcow: Thank you so very much! I really appreciate that.

cool, i like it.

very good work.

Thanks mystery00  I appreciate that.

Your signature kind of reminded me of another quote, Yoda to Luke in Empire Strikes Back: "Try not. Do, or do not. There is no try. "

Well, back to doing the next blend
