Thinking in 3d.

I have this mouse demo I made, where I use the mouse movements to move a object in a scene on a x/y plane, and the mouse wheel to move the object up and down(z).

this seems very intuitive for “move” transformations.

Is this already in blender somewhere I am not seeing other then manually setting the keys and killing pan/zoom?

Is it good bad or ugly?

you can activate the 3D widget on bottom header and with cursor over axis of the wdiget you can move following the world axis in 3D
