Third Person Help in BGE :(

Hello, my first time being here and anyways I already have a character that has an aim animation when you hold down the right mouse click, but I can’t figure out how to let the user be able to aim up or down it can only aim left and right. For example --> – when the player right click the camera zooms in and your able to aim up, down, left, and right.

or another idea

Another example is at 2:10 this person has two bones and a empty that has a tracker and I have no idea how to make it work with my model. If anyone can make a simple version of how to do this I’ll be very grateful! :smiley:

you can have a control change when a second key is pressed

like ctrl+arrows is different then arrows , just make sure they are set to pulse, and then have removing the pulse be a separate condition

you can have the camera be a object linked to a empty, by a 6dof actuator and apply force or torque on keypress

so it is always tracking the same location, you just push it offset from the empty location and that changes angles
