This is a house I have been working on for an animation concept of mine. I am getting to the point now where I will need some advise on what I can do to improve it. I will work on the texturing and when I am done with the model. Well, C&C welcomed!
I like it. Very simple…almost like a toy. I would change the size of the gutter and brighten the colors up a bit, but otherwise, very nice.
The bottom of the gutter by the ground doesn’t look like its set smooth (unless that’s the look you are going for).
Uh… the only other think that I can think of right now is possible add a flag to the mailbox. (unless the flag is hidden on the other side).
I like the house. Keep the updates commin.

I think the gutters is the only problem. They seem to big, contrasting color is too much, but most of all, they run on the wrong side of house. Gutters run lengthwise on the down slope of the roof. They should be running over the door, not the bay windows. They are there to catch the rain off the main slope of the roof. I like the house very much, but the gutters I no like… Good Job!!!

Yeah, the gutters have been bothering me. As for the colors, I have yet to decide how I want to tackle this. I don’t know if I am going to use Blender and tweak the colors, or use Corel Paint of Adobe Photoshop.

No, the flag is not hidden on the other side. I do need a flag on that mailbox if I ever expect the mail man to pick my mail up… I will work on that.

The color for the gutters is a temp color. I am going to make them a silver color. I made the color a contrasting color for the time that I am working on it. Thankx for the advice on how the gutters should be placed on the house.

The grass look a bit to artificial, don’t know, it’s the colour. try to work on that and it will be very evry good!

First of all, very nice updates. The wood that’s holding the axe looks like it is hooked to the rain gutter. From the older pictures, I can tell that it isn’t but someone seeing the last picture first might believe so. Other than that, it’s commin along great.

:o SWEET MOTHER OF ALL THAT IS PURE AND HOLY!!! How did that wood get stuck to my gutter? If I told him once… I have told him once… ( atariman thanks to himself) wait a minute… that wood is not stuck to my gutter I just need to change my camera angel. Thank God. I thought I may have to call Bob Vela or something.
