I do agree that the NFT thing is insane, for the amount of money some are spending, you can order a printed copy of the image on wide-format premium paper, placed inside of a custom-built frame…

A wise man once stated that a fool and his money are soon parted, well the joke is on you if you end up begging for money from family, friends and strangers because you blew your budget on MS Paint doodles. It is not so bad though if you manage to become the shrewd businessman who discovered there is an entire market of fools willing to splurge on your old work, that is if you don’t believe in being ethical.

The “perps” are selling transactions, and in case you didn’t notice they require you to pay for those transactions in dollars. They’re simply counting on the universal constant G … equals “human greed.” The value of G is, of course, "∞".
