Thoughts?

Hi,

I tried making some cosmetics magazine advert type images, and wondered if anyone would be willing to give feedback? I think my lighting could do with some work, but I’m not sure where to focus on. I would like to create more images of this type (albeit with different products) so I thought feedback at this stage might help catch core issues.

I made a quick “brand” for the labels using Gravit Designer, and the rest was done in Blender. I also did a little test advert for a price drop (text Lithuanian) - I think the composition of this can be improved however. I really miss having access to Marvelous Designer, doing the silk in Blender was quite a pain.

Thanks!

I like the second one better as it is giving a nice contrast. But the color choice makes the text hard to read. Maybe try dark grey for text? You don’t want a light shaded products with a light shade text. Also you should try lowering the camera?

Can we see it in color? Or do you intend monochrome? (Your choice …)

Try to change the background fabric color to shades of orange for the first image to give contrast between background and products.
Black background need to be really dark to get good look.
