Hello everyone and welcome to Raethon Labs Official Development Team Recruitment! Raethon Labs revolves around the fundamentals of a skilled group of experienced developers all contributing together in there own way to create a final product.
I created Raethon Labs after I made the mesmerizing realization that almost every development team that sets out with a goal such as Raethon’s usually is never taken seriously and everyone doesn’t do there part which all contributes to the fall of the team which through my experience concurs slightly over a week. My hope for this group is to find some members with some reputable experience looking to work on a project with a tight knit team. We will work as much as possible, hours a day and I need members who have the time, skill set, and self motivation to offer something to the team.
Untitled Project
Our current project, and more than likely our only project, is a untitled FPS that will be developed in Unity (C#) and modeled in Blender/C4D/3DS. At first this shooter will be free download (not open source) and be only single player. We will be uploading a weekly development log on YouTube in hope of gaining some followers and bit of a fan base before a beta release. We will be going with one of three directions with this project. We are either going to take the campaign style approach with a solid story line or we will be creating a wave styled game (similar to nazi zombies, firefight, MW3 survival) with many ‘easter eggs’ to hint about a story line while also fighting waves of enemies. Additionally we may be creating a AI styled multiplier where rather then fighting players you fight AI, much like combat training on BO. Feel free to let us know what you think we should do. The game will have a modern setting,with realistic guns, ext. All of this is just thought, nothing is set in stone, and everything is subject to change. What we do know is we won’t a realistic well rounded FPS, that hopefully gains some popularity and a reputation for itself and the rest of the team.

Programming experience in C#, VB, HTML, CSS, JS, PHP, JQUERY, Java, Batch, and some other languages. Additional experience in web orientated vulnerabilities and exploiting, graphics, modeling, animation, ext. Will be working as a scripter/designer/developer/modeler.
DamnNation/TheCrazy8th
Avid reader and has authored several lengthy and emotionally strenuous books. He will be our creative thinker and will be writing the theories of the game. You can also thank him for the name of the group. Additionally he has some VB experience but will most likely not be contributing to the coding aspect of Raethon.
Application
We are currently looking for a few different types of people to join the Raethon team. First off we need scripters, those who have some extensive experience in writing FPS games in Unity. Next we need good modelers. You must be able to create realistically textured models at a respectable poly count. We don’t need another creative thinkers/strategist, between everyone and Tyler (DamnNation/TheCrazy8th) it’s not much of a concern. At a later point we will need marketers but for now that is nothing but a side note. Anyway if you feel you fit the part, or two, fill out the form below.
