Hi blender artists,

I’d like to use blender as an engine for technical drawings, so I design a workpiece on the monitor, then build it traditionally, e. g. as a carpenter, in a traditional workshop.

Thus, I need my idea displayed in a technical three-side projection, along with measurements, scalable. Maybe in some cases, I’d love to even get those drawings scaled in 1:1, so I can use them as a template. However, I’ve got no clue on how to make blender help me on that.

Blender is not cad software, but if you just want simple camera projections such as top, side, or even angle there is a simple add on called measure it in Blender that can project images from the render with measures.
