The card symbols like, clubs, diamonds, hearts, reminded me the porcelain cup in which my grandma served me my first coffee.
I had around 12 y and the fact she made it like for a grown up was so sweet!

I focused here on 2D looking scene with usung hatching in shaders.
I am quite happy how the white outline reminds me a bit the way I framed subject in my traditional illustrations years ago.
