Hi, I’m looking for a way to make clean “tileable” sculpting
For example here I just have a hollow cylinder I want to sculpt it and be able to use an array without any transition problems.
But there are offsets on the x and y axis (I locked the Z axis)

I just tested with a plane and it doesn’t work either… so the tiling options don’t work on blender?

Select ‘Merge’ on the array modifier. Maybe adjust ‘Distance’.

I tried of course but the merge gives a very ugly look.

try locking the X and Y directions in the brush symmetry options.

It’s already the case, there are offsets on the Z axis (for the plane).

Thank you for sharing.
I must admit that I have difficulty understanding his technique.
