Time to bring UE5 hype to blender (with real-time path tracing!)

It’s true, but currently, there’s no version of Blender that can come anywhere near real-time performance for large environment scenes with extensive vegetation. Even with solutions like impostors or alpha trees, which work great for one angle, there’s no way to walk around an environment in real-time in Blender like you could in a game engine with static vegetation, let alone grass that responds to wind and footprints. Either game engine can do this with ease. Even Godot can do this. This is by design, though, Eevee isn’t a game engine, and it never was. It’s fundamentally different.
