i have swimming in my game and i would like to know how to make the “distance to breath” ratio the same on all fps

like when i play it on my comp at 8 fps i can get very far while swimming without running out of breath

and on my brothers comp at 35 fps i run out of breath very quickly

i need to know how to be able to get the same distance on any fps

so, decrement by a function of time passed

so, you need a timer property, and a float property

the float property you set to the timer property after you are done using it

the time that has passed on this frame is the difference between the two. if you plan on dividing the two, consider setting your float property initally to a negative value.
