Timer Property Question...

(matthewsjc1) #1

Hello all,

I haven’t used the timer property in quite a while. I’ve been using property = property + 1 for different things. Now I would like to use the timer property again, but I forget: i set a prop timer and then have sensor to detect when it reaches a number, but it doesn’t fire once that number is reached. Does this have anything to do with the timer prop being a floating point value or what? i forget how to solve this??? i can’t remember, but i think i did something before to convert this into an integer or something and it worked??? thanks!

I think that the timer property is too fast to check at a single number. Use an interval property sensor instead.

Yeh

I always use an intervel sensor so you dont miss the mark
