Hey all…
Does anyone know how to get tinted shadows from semi-transparent objects? I’ve read that it can be done by exporting to POV-ray or another ratracer. If so, how? Or, is there any other way to do it?

Could you apply a blend texture to a single lamp and light the object in question with it to give the appearance of tinted shadows?
Desoto-111: no, that would tint the light, not the shadow.
What you can do to have a colored shadow is more of a trick, but it works very well.
Basicly, you have two spot with the same color (the one you want to project as shadow).
One with the Shadow option Off.
The other with the Shadow option On and the Negative option On too.
However, this will created tinted shadow for every object, so you will probably have to use Layer lights.
