TIP adding animation to Mixamo avoid using FBX

You exported your character using FBX into Mixamo, rigged it, added an animation to it and sent it back to Blender via FBX. You will find it scaled to .01 in Blender. If you apply transform scale the animation will get messed up.

For faster and better results export your character in the OBJ format to Mixamo. Rig it, adding an animation to it then sent it back via FBX in Blender
will avoid getting a giant 100+ meters high rigged character.
