Tip: Rotational Arrays

Ok, maybe everyone’s already figured this out, but … I was trying (again) to make some 8-sided gear thing and becoming majorly frustrated with trying to get spindup to work right, glared at ArrayMod and said “why don’t you do rotation” . . . and then I thought to try the object displacement setting.

Make an empty. Clear its transforms. Rotate it N/360 degrees. Link it to array of N steps.

Duh.
